My apparent purpose in life...

C/CPL Seth Holther and C/SGT Jeremiah Weiskercher, both sophomores, sing karaoke at the One Root Festival. Photo by Julian Brown-Johnson.
So I was just minding my own business tonight, checking my email and I thought, "Hmmmm... i haven't googled our family for a while." As we all know, we had some fun speculation at poor Seth's expense, and so I googled his name and said I was feeling lucky. How interesting! I got a photo of that handsome boy at an ROTC event. If you want to check out the whole article here is the url: http://www.grant.k12.ca.us/schools/fhsr/stampede_web/html_pages/archives/news/051006_one_root_festival.html

What Brad wrote to me!

Okay --
As I said before, since no one was hearing from Bradley, I would just post his next email, and so here it is in it's totally un-edited form, so now you know some of what is going on with him and the boys. No news about the girl who hates Seth though! Go figure!-- Enjoy!

Good night!!!! I don't ever check this email. I work on a stinkin' computer all day, I rarely get to this one. Anyway, yeah; still here - alive and kickin'. Went golfing today, 72 degrees, sunny and beautiful, what a great day to be on the course, absolutely wonderful.
I've been real busy doing the B-ball thing. Next week will finally be the end; 6 months of non-stop officiating has taken it's toll (football right into B-Ball), boy will I be glad next Friday night about 7:30pm, it will be over, at least until August.
Seth is going to his ROTC "Ball" tonight, he has a date, a freshman, had to go in uniform w/bow tie, he looked pretty sharp; we will get pictures w/him and his date and send them along. We also have new family photos; still haven't gotten them in the mail yet, but we will, promise. Ryan and Alex are doing well also, Ryan won "grand prize" at the 8th grade Science Fair for his project; he gets to go to "districts" now and we'll see how he does against other 8th graders in other schools. He did an experiment with "batteries", different types and how long they would last compared to each other for certain durations in a flashlight. He did all the work himself for the most part and we are really proud of him. Alex is just "plugging" along, pretty much a straight A student, kind of boring hey!!! Ha ha!!! we are very proud of all 3 of them, they are all doing very well.
So the Steelers won, big deal; I wasn't really rooting for either team, but after some of the "crappy" calls, (and I say that begrudgingly) because I am an Official and I know how hard it is, but boy there were some really really bad calls, but after all that, I was sort of rooting for Seattle.
Anyhooooo, thought I'd finally answer your wimpering emails way to go CRY, you got your way again- ha ha!!! give Michael and Sammy a big hug and kiss for me. Love you guys;Brad
